Hello, It's now 2013

Hi
Fast forward to day 2 of blogging. Funny how some things stay the same. In reading my first entry (dated 2008). I read my comments about a migraine due to my injuries for the car accident in 1997. This same area is now burning . No migraine, just a burning sensation like there is a hot 6mm hot metal piece stuck in my trapizias muscle. I am going to try again to work on this blog. Even if no one ever reads it I get to release stuff in written form for myself.
Lately there are many peoples posting their "things I'm thankful for" on FACEBOOK.Today it has to be that I am thankful I have a student that I give lessons on the oboe. Her name is Alina and she picks up  things that we go over in lessons and applies them in a consistant fashion. She got to demostraite it this evening by playing solo with a CD piano accompaniment at a church service. She had a super performance! I couldn't have prouder. My dad was there to hear her (think he wanted to see how I was doing as a teacher, too).
Tomorrow is a performance I get to participate in. The bell choir is on for the church service I go to. This is the first time this fall for us. We have two brand spanking new additions to the troupe this year, too. I think all will be well with us, though. I LOVE PLAYING IN THE BELL CHOIR. Such beautiful music when all the notes fall in place! Very late now, gotta try to sleep again. Good night.

The first day of blogging. 09162008

I've often thought of blogging since the early days of getting on the net. I didn't call it that because of course I called it journaling. Here it is.

As I walked into the library today, (where my computer sits) a handsome very young man took off his hat opened the door for me and Alberta. Wow, what a good kid. I then thanked him as I do anytime I get a chance to actually engage anyone in uniform. Seems he and a buddy got dumped here to wait for another assignment. I can't imagine that life and am glad that there are those whom actually choose it as a lifestyle for any period, for whatever reasons.

AS you will come to know or if you already know me I am a person that has chronic pain and fibromyalg1a.Today my body has worked itself into quite the migraine. I had surgery for this and had the culprit nerve burned out. I was without those pains ,shoulder neck and head, for three months. Then as of about two months ago the nerve regenerated.
Crap, crap, crap. My Doc told me when he was doing the procedure that he hadn't had any of his patients relapse. Hello, I am the first. This distinction I could have done without.

I have started art journaling and am going to try to get my work posted on here when I figure out how to. I have some pieces that I like. I will share as someday someone will read and look at this.

Thursday I was gifted a trip to Chicago very generously by my Dad. I will go to Chicago on a bus with at least seventeen others. It is called "Art in the Heart of Chicago", a tour of outdoor and indoor art from famous artists as Picasso and Chagall to our tour guide of which I have forgotten his name. I am very excited about this as it gets me outta "Dodge" for a day. Zoe, my cat, will be annoyed as her personal toy master will not be available for her at her whim.

Hasta la bye-bye on Dias e ses (spelling probably very wrong)
